In Uganda PWDs face a challenge of being unemployed, this is as a result of their limited skills due to failure to attend mainstream schools and the negative attitudes of the would be employers so they end up living under poverty waves. In order to overcome this, the Centre equips the clients and their care takers with vocational skills which may help them to earn a living in the future. Examples of vocational activities at the Centre include; knitting, crocheting, weaving, and bead work among others.
