Our Progress up to date

The NGO aims at rehabilitating, advocating for and empowering special needs people with keen focus on children, preparing them for inclusive education. The organization also economically empowers such children and their families for improved well wellbeing. With a number of professionals including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and special needs education, the organization provides holistic rehabilitation and empowerment services. The organization works with a number of children caretakers and empowers them with skills to support such children including care and management, vocational skills and income generation to sustain their families.

In the last four years since establishment, Imagination Children’s Learning Centre has;

  • Assessed 200 children
  • Rehabilitated over100 children and enabled some children enroll into formal education,
  • Equipped twenty two (22) caretakers with vocational skills including weaving, crocheting, and hairdressing.
  • Supported 12 Intern students from Uganda institute of Allied Health and Management  sciences (Occupational Therapy)
  • Hosted 6 international volunteers
